Ticket details have been confirmed for Carlisle United's first league trip to Barnsley since the 1980s.

The Blues take on the Tykes at Oakwell on Saturday, November 18.

United have been allocated an initial 1,451 reserved seating tickets for the game in Yorkshire, and tickets are on sale now.

Although Carlisle have played at Barnsley's ground in the recent past, their 3-0 win over the Tykes in August 2019 came in the League Cup.

Not since March 22, 1986 have the Cumbrians played at Oakwell in the league, United winning 2-1 in the old Second Division that day.

The trip to take on Neill Collins' side is the fifth shortest on the League One calendar for United.

And it is the second shortest of the season so far after the October trip to Bolton Wanderers which saw 4,407 travelling fans relish a memorable 3-1 win.

Another strong away support will be expected for the encounter with last season's losing League One play-off finalists, who are currently fifth in the table.

Adult ticket prices are £23 if bought in advance, with over 65s and young adults (19-21). Prices increase by £2 if bought on matchday. Under-19 (£10) and Under-14 (£5) prices remain the same.

Full ticket information is available on United's website.
