More than 120 people are set to join a memorial car convoy for a teenager who died in a crash.

Fellow motorists will pay a special tribute to 18-year-old Jordan David McClure, who lost his life on Easter Sunday.

The “cruise”, next month, will see scores of Jordan’s friends and family gather to honour his life.

The former Trinity School pupil died in a one-vehicle crash near Kirkandrews-on-Eden between Carlisle and Burgh-by-Sands.

The convoy has been organised by Kieran Ruddick, a fellow member of Unity Cumbria Car Cruise, of which Jordan was a popular member.

Tributes have been paid on the Facebook page ‘Unity – Unite for Jordon’, and car fans from as far afield as Manchester have said they will attend the cruise on May 14.
