A MAN was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after his car was spotted being driven in 'erratic manner and front tyre 'detached from rim'.
At around 6.10pm on April,26 a black Volvo S60 NV12XHL was driven in the Briar Bank/Kingstown Road/Windsor Way/Edderside Drive area of Carlisle with the front tyre detached from the rim in a dangerous condition and also in an erratic manner.
The vehicle was located in the Edderside Drive area of Carlisle and a man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, disqualified driving, driving without insurance and driving whilst unfit through drugs. He was subsequently released under investigation.
Police would like to appeal to any persons in the area or on this route at the time who could provide a witness account or CCTV/dash camera footage.
