Enquiries are ‘ongoing’ after an illegal motorised push bike was found dumped in the street.
Carlisle police found the bike after receiving reports of teenagers driving a motorised push bike in the street.
This homemade motorcycle had been adapted to use the rear bake lever as a clutch leaving the original front brake as the only way to stop the bike.
Police have warned that the original rubber brake pads on the front wheel were not sufficient to stop the bike which could reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour.
