NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Westmorland and Furness’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Appleby Hub Cafe at Appleby Hub, Chapel Street, Appleby-In-Westmorland; rated on March 28
• Rated 4: Brough Chippy at New Road, Brough, Kirkby Stephen; rated on March 8
• Rated 4: Riverside at The Sands, Appleby-In-Westmorland; rated on March 8
• Rated 2: Eden River Cafe at 5 Bridge Street, Appleby-In-Westmorland; rated on March 7
One rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
• Rated 5: The Stag Inn at Dufton, Appleby-In-Westmorland; rated on February 28
Plus one rating for a takeaway:
• Rated 5: Riverside Chip Shop at The Sands, Appleby-In-Westmorland; rated on March 6
