Snapped Ankles, a post-punk, rock and electronic band from London will play The Brickyard on May 7.

Music mag Long Live Vinyl said the band ‘sounds like Mark E Smith fronting a band of malfunctioning dial-up modems’, while The Quietus said the band is ‘but a celebration of the necessity of the weird’.
Last week the venue announced that Carlisle-based Ichi's Ghost will open for the band, describing the act as 'electronic and vocal' and 'broadcasting alien sounds that probe your brainstem'.
