Woman cut free after car crash on Carlisle street

A woman had to be cut free from a car this morning after a three-vehicle crash in Etterby, Carlisle.

The smash happened at 7.45am on Etterby Scaur and involved a Ford Mondeo, a BMW and a Transit van.
Police and fire were called to the scene.
The road was partially blocked for a time.
