Dalston AA members land their biggest skate
Last weekend members of Dalston Anglers Association headed North for a skate fishing trip to Loch Crinan. And they enjoyed a great weekend with two of their members landing their biggest-ever skate.

The Eden’s spring salmon run continues and following Nick Marriner’s 27 pounder, reported in last week’s column, the Warwick Hall water produced two more salmon in excess of 20 pounds last Saturday.

Salmon show as water levels subside on River Eden
As the River Eden floodwaters subsided during the last week of February, a run of spring salmon entered the river and there were reports of deep-bodied silver fish being sighted heading and tailing as they ran upstream.

Liversage christens new gear with first fly-caught salmon on Eden
At 3pm last Sunday Alan Liversage christened his brand new salmon fly rod, reel and shooting head line in some style by landing a 10lb spring salmon from the Linstock beat of the River Eden.
