If Moorclose in Workington has plenty salt grit could they send it up to Gorebridge.

not seen 1 at moorclose shops and im there often enough. most of the rest you mentioned were empty. forgot about, or not seen the rest. the point is, why should we be so desperate as that when a large chunk of community tax is paid to county council?
we didnt even last 3 week before nightmares began, with just a few inch of snow - heaven help us if history repeats itself with the 3 month winter blast of 1962-63 where its feet deep - not inches!answer is simple. cut backs in service but not in chiefs and bosses.
