RIGHT folks, I let myself down by being sent off against Southport on New Year’s Day. I am not dirty, just very hard. I would tackle my best friends the same way.

It is frustrating when you see tackles just as bad, like the one on Simon Spender in the Cambridge game, get less punishment. That’s life, I suppose.

The best way to answer your critics is to do the talking on the pitch. I think I literally do too much though as it winds the referees up the wrong way!
