Constant change endangers the very quality in education we are striving for
All change - this is Crewe. These are familiar words I regularly recall from my childhood, and I could well be the only Crewe Alexandra supporter in Trinity School – or, indeed, in Carlisle.

Support and aspiration: A new approach to special educational needs and disability
Last month we saw the introduction of the Green Paper for students with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN). This new Government Paper aims to improve the aspirations and hopes of students with disabilities and learning difficulties and give them greater control of their own life stories for the future.

Whatever the school leaving age is, we hope students go with positive memories
I remember being told an anecdote about a final memory of school days. This was in Manchester way back in the 1970s and the fifth years (current year 11) were suddenly rounded up in the hall and told by the headteacher to “clear off”.
