Four bailed after man glassed in Carlisle bar

Four men arrested after a man was glassed in the neck have been released on bail.
Police investigations are continuing after the man, 43, suffered a “significant injury” in Walkabout, off Botchergate, in Carlisle city centre.
Officers were called to the scene and arrested four men from Carlisle, aged 23, 24, 28 and 33, on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They were questioned before being bailed. The injured man was taken to hospital and later discharged.
The incident happened at about 9pm on Sunday.
Police are appealing for information. Call officers on 101.
