A RUGBY club's players, staff, family and friends, are pleading for donations to help them reach their fundraising target.
Wigton RUFC have been raising money to pay for a new scrum sled, with a target of £800 needed for the piece of equipment.
A scrum sled is a piece of equipment used for practising scrummaging and rucking.
So far, the club has raised £690 - which is largely thanks to a sponsored truck pull.
Thirty players, staff, family and friends helped to pull a 26 tonne truck along Lowmoor Road in Wigton.
The scrum sled is to be used by all of Wigton RUFC's teams, with a JustGiving page set up to help raise funds.
The club has a number of senior teams, as well as youth teams.
Their youngest age group is under 9's, with their senior teams catering to all ages.
Coach Mark Lee is confident the club will reach its fundraising target.
He said: "I think we will get there, we just need a few boys to put their hands in their pockets and we will get there!
"It has been a strong community effort, rather than asking someone to pay for the machine they worked hard for it.
"If we can raise a bit more, that would be fantastic.
"It is for a local club, used by the local community.
"Any donation is welcome, most of the money has been raised by the players and people connected to the club."
