Know your marras from your motts? Your keks from your crack? Then this is your chance to be named a Cumbrian dialect guru.
Silloth Rotary Club is hosting their annual Cumbrian Dialect Competition in the Golf Hotel on Saturday.
Competitors are asked to recite or speak an original piece of work for between two and four minutes.
There'll be awards for the best overall pieces, most humourous, best newcomer and best junior for under 16s.
It starts at 2pm and entry is free. Tea and coffee provided.
In the past the ceremony has been hosted by local actor and author Tim Barker.
