A donation of more than £1,000 has been put towards an appeal for a little boy fighting cancer.
Cumbrian bed manufacturer Sealy UK has donated the money it raised from a charity night to support three-year-old Logan Waite in his battle.
The brave tot, from Aspatria, was diagnosed with a tumour on his right kidney in the autumn.
He has been enduring a gruelling schedule of chemotherapy since.
Last month, more than 60 Sealy employees gathered at Aspatria Rugby Club to raise £1,140.
His mum Kerry Waite said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by all the local support we’ve received since Logan was diagnosed.
"The funds raised by the community have really helped give Logan a new lease of life.
"Since being in hospital, we’ve been able to take him on days out while he’s recovering, this is so very precious to us - so we want everyone to know how much this fundraising for Logan’s Journey means to us.”
Lynsey Millican, head of the committee at Sealy, said: "We’re such a tight-knit neighbourhood in Aspatria that Logan’s Journey was the obvious choice when it came to deciding on a cause.
"We are delighted with the funds raised and would like to extend a very big thank you to everyone involved."
