It will take place on Sunday, July 9, at the Richard Rose Morton Academy on Wigton Road.
It has been organised by Sharon Slack and Nina Porter.
Event planner Sharon, of Newtown Road, Carlisle, said: “Between us we have children aged between two and nine.
“People don’t realise the scope of children’s activities in the area. It’s not just dance and football.
“There is so much going on that people don’t realise and so we thought we’d organise this event to make everyone aware and so they can have a go at some of the taster sessions throughout the day.”
Some of the firms signed up to take part on the day include Energi trampoline park, Cheer Force Knights, Rugby Tots, Baby Sensory, Little Lifers First Aid, fairy Magical Mel and Tiny Town.
Sharon said: “We’ve got 35 companies booked, which is great for our first event.
“There will also be a football camp, archery sessions and martial arts.
“Nina and I both work from home and we are both self employed, so this seemed like a good thing to do. We’ve had more than 600 likes on our Facebook page and we’ve got 10,000 leaflets to distribute.
“If 200 families attend then we will be pleased.”
The event is free for children and £3 for adults. People can pay on the door. It runs from 11am to 3pm.
