TWO intrepid fundraisers from Brampton will attempt to travel as far across the world as possible in 36 hours – with no money.

Full-time mum and student, Helen Ivison, and nursery nurse, Coral Irving, are attempting the feat under the name of the Brampton Borrowers.

The ambitious women, both 23, are hoping to raise as much money as they can for Endometriosis UK relying on nothing but their wits, powers of persuasion, and charm.

The jail break-themed event will see the women released from “cells” at the Avoncroft Museum in Worcester.

They then have just 36 to blag their way across the world.

Helen, of St Martin’s Road, said: “We thought it would be a good chance to see and do something fun.

“We are taking part in this charity fundraising event to help raise awareness of endometriosis in the UK, as it is the second most common gynaecological condition affecting up to one in 10 women.”

Coral, of Stanley Road, and Helen are calling on the community to help.

Helen added: “We hope to end up as far across the world as we can. We are determined to make this memorable.

“In 36 hours we must get as far away from the site as possible without spending any money on transport.

“Teams entering similar events have travelled as far as Vancouver, New York, Alicante in Spain and Warsaw.

“We are hoping to travel just as far or further. We have written to airlines and travel companies asking for assistance.”

The event will take place on March 7, 2009.
