WHEN was the last time you bought something because you saw it advertised on the side of a lorry speeding past you on the other side of the motorway? What? Never? 
It is the day after the spending review, and I know how anxious people are feeling as they digest what has been announced. 
The final part of my challenge was today (Sunday) in Newcastle and would involve running or should I rephrase this as completing the 30th Bupa Great North Run. 
THE words sick as a parrot are definitely circling in my head. I am gutted the way things have gone.
