HOW THEY MET: On a night out in Wigton nine years ago.

PROPOSAL: While swimming in the sea at Fig Tree Bay at Protaras, Cyprus, in 2013.

STAG & HEN CELEBRATIONS: Carlisle and Leeds for the hen parties and Newcastle and Magaluf for the stag parties.

VENUE: St Mary’s church, Wigton.

THEME: Pink and white, vintage and modern glam.

BRIDE’S OUTFIT: The bride wore a Justin Alexander ivory lace dress with vintage belt and crystals on the train from I Do, Cockermouth.

GROOMSMEN: Andrew Blythe, groom’s best friend, was best man and David Charters and Lewis Dobson, groom’s friends, were ushers. Jayen Todhunter, bride’s cousin, was page boy. They wore grey suits, hired from Debenhams.

BRIDESMAIDS: Katie Howe, the bride’s best friend, was chief bridesmaid. Jenni Pearson, Jayne Hunter and Leanne Mitchell, all bride’s close friends, were bridesmaids and wore pearl pink chiffon from Aisie Style. Lara, the couple’s god-daughter, and Leah, the couple’s 14-month-old daughter, were flower girls and wore ivory dresses from Next.

JEWELLERY: A white gold channel-set diamond ring for the bride and a palladium brushed double groove ring for the groom. Both from Nicholson & Coulthard, Carlisle.

FLOWERS: By Fearon’s Flowers, Workington.

TRANSPORT: 1957 vintage Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and an ivory and black Daimler from Silver Lady Wedding Car Hire.

RECEPTION: An afternoon reception for 108 day guests at Greenhill Hotel, Wigton and a buffet for a further 50 guests.

TABLE SETTINGS: Mirrored glass cubes with flowers as centrepieces with mirrors and crystals, crystal tealight holders and candles.

FAVOURS: Jars of mini-eggs with name tags.

CAKE: A three-tier cake from Cake Dragon, Carlisle

ENTERTAINMENT: No Band Required.

HONEYMOON: Cala’n Bosch, Menorca.

FURTHER DETAILS: The venue was decorated with fairy light backdrops, drapes above the dance floor and swags with fairy lights on the top table. There was also a cake table, vintage post box, sweet table and large light-up letters with the couple’s initials. The couple walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years, Piano Guys.
