Young farmers from Cumbria won the team stock judging award at the national dairy stock judging final.
The Young Farmers competition was held at Bentham Auction Mart after being relocated from the Great Yorkshire Show.
There were 17 teams from nine counties taking part in the competition. The farmer and breeder trophy was won by William Horsley, of Skelton club, Philip Potts, from Raughton Head and James Mattinson, from Aspatria.
Mr Mattinson went on to come second in the senior stock judging competition with Raughton Head’s Craig Brough coming third.
William Horsley was runner-up in the junior contest.
County YFC chairman Jan Mason said: “We are very proud of our stock judging skills in the county and find it is a great confidence builder for the juniors. These are amazing results.”
