New owners close Keswick guest house for revamp

Linnett Hill guest house in Keswick is being refurbished after changing hands.
Andrew and Amanda Watson bought the business in Penrith Road but closed it immediately to upgrade the 11 en-suite bedrooms.
They plan to reopen for Easter.
The couple, who previously operated chalet accommodation in France, moved to Cumbria from Nottingham after acquiring the business from Caroline Glennon, who has retired to Ireland.
The sale price has not been revealed but specialist hotel agent Colliers International was advertising Linnett Hill with an asking price of £645,000.
Haydn Spedding, associate director at Colliers’ Manchester office, advised Ms Glennon on the sale.
