The Lakes Hospitality Trade Show is moving to a new venue.

This year’s event – aimed at accommodation providers, restaurateurs, caterers and others in the industry – will be held at the Daffodil Hotel and Spa, Grasmere, on February 26 and 27.

The organisers are promising that the move from Bowness-on-Windermere will mean this year’s show will offer more products, services and ideas than ever before. They also hope that the more central location will attract extra visitors from north Cumbria.

Exhibitors include suppliers of food and drink, catering equipment, technology and other hospitality services.

An interiors event, previously held separately, has been amalgamated into the show to make one larger event covering the full spectrum of hospitality requirements under the one roof.

There are free seminars and masterclasses covering employment law, dealing with online complaints, various aspects of marketing including online and social media, tax advice, and health and safety.

Show representative Suzi Bunting said: “Countless hotels continue to plan significant upgrades for the year ahead.

“The show is a one-stop shop for these business owners offering all the insights, product details, ideas and deals that they need to tap into, if they wish to make informed decisions.

“With the added benefit of our seminars and masterclasses, the Lakes Hospitality Trade Show is a must for anyone wishing to excel in 2013.”
