Thanks for aiding project

With reference to your article entitled ‘Pupils plan to make the most of One Life’ (News & Star, November 10).
I would like to offer a big thank-you from Rathbone, to the teachers and students of the ‘One Life’ programme, and to everyone else who made the launch of the project earlier this month a success.
In particular we would like to thank Stobarts, Morrisons, Craig at the Nat West bank in Carlisle and Keith and Kathy Maschiter from Briar Lea Guest House, Longtown, for their kind donations of goods for the students to raise money for the Indian Orphanage Appeal which is our adopted charity.
